Royal Naval Patrol Service Association

A few weeks back, two of our Scouts paraded as part of the Royal Naval Patrol Service Association event at Sparrows Nest in Lowestoft. They received glowing feedback from the rest of the parade on their behavior and immaculate turnout. They were a credit to the group- well done. You can see the feedback we received below:

On behalf of our association I would like to thank and congratulate the 2 young men who proudly paraded at our service and after at the march past and Sunset.  They were a credit to their uniform and your unit and were remarked on by a lot of the veterans.  As relative newcomers to the noble art of Standard Bearing they did very well especially at the dips as your Standard Bearer kept time with all the others which showed he used his loaf and watched the others.  The only part of the proceedings he could not take part in was the Standard Bearers “tot” of rum afterwards but his father helped him out there!

It was a pleasure to march with them and I hope they enjoyed the experience of playing with the big boys.

Yours sincerely,

Leo Whisstock
National Secretary and National Standard Bearer
