From time to time, we need to recruit new adult members into the group to assist running with sections, or the group as a whole.

We are always happy to consider a new adult volunteer for any position in the group, luckily there are no urgent vacancies at this time.

If you would like to volunteer for any other role in the group, please let us know using the ‘Contact Us’ page on the menu above. We don’t expect anyone to commit straight away, so by emailing us we can arrange a face to face meeting to have a chat about the role and explain it in more detail.

If you would like a better idea of how the group is structured, please see the following page to see what other roles are available, and how they fit into the group structure as a whole. http://carltonairscouts.suffolkscouts.org.uk/group/group-structure/

Current positions we would like to fill:

Position: ASL (Assistant Scout Leader)

Description: An ASL works to the SL (Scout Leader [head of the Scout section]) to plan and run troop night activities. ASLs also assist to set up, run and organise camps and outdoor events.

No prior experience in Scouting necessary.

Please use the ‘Contact Us’ page to let us know if you are interested. There is absolutely no commitment up front, and a full trial period would happen before anything is finalised.
